I've become fascinated with the aesthetics of minimalist theater and how the absence of sets and props forces the viewers to use their imaginations in order to complete the image and ideas created by an empty stage. In my new body of work, I'm exploring narratives and relationships that appear within a stage that is devoid of distractions. Confronted by the surrounding emptiness, the model (or actor) takes on a new importance, and even the smallest gesture by the performer becomes significant and pivotal to the narrative.
